Common Reasons why your GE Water Dispenser Isn’t Working

The Water Tube is Frozen

In addition to this, you also need to make sure that the freezer is at the right temperature. For GE freezers, this should be between 0-10 degrees Fahrenheit. The Water Inlet Valve Needs Replacing

The water inlet valve will open and it will supply water to the dispenser. If your inlet valve is defective or if the pressure is too low, then the valve itself won’t open. The valve for a GE fridge will require 20 psi of pressure. If the water pressure in your home is enough, then use a multimeter to test the valve. If it is faulty then replace it.
